Take the number and associate with item that look like or relavent to that number and once you listed the items related to each number that you need to remember then create a irrelevant story with that items. So the end of the day you remember the story rather then a number you suppose to. But reproducing this story will help you to reproduce your number completely which is not that easy to remember directly.
